Build your confidence in a group setting
The following activities enable Auslan learners who have completed Auslan Skills Levels 1, 2, & 3 or are currently studying them, to have more practice or/and ongoing development in learning. Other learners of Auslan from other educational institutions are welcome to join us.
Monthly Friday Evening Workshops
Workshops are offered once a month on the 3rd Friday night, to support Auslan conversation practice in social setting with native or native-like Auslan signers.
Totally Auslan Weekend Camp
Totally Auslan Weekend Camp is full of Auslan lessons and activities for Auslan learners who would like to undergo an intensive and practical experience in which Auslan is used in real situations and embraces Deaf Culture.
Fingerspelling & Numbering Workshop
The main purpose of the course is to build participant’s confidence in Auslan fingerspelling and numbering skills, particularly receptive skills.
“Excellent course, it was highly recommended to me and I will highly recommend to others. I’ve appreciated being corrected on the signs and expressions to make sure I’m doing them accurately. I thought it was very engaging and comprehensive. Everyone in the class was friendly and nice. The teachers are approachable & supportive. Donovan was an excellent teacher. Thank you!”
“Donovan is my daughter’s main Auslan tutor and she loves working with him. Her Auslan skills are improving and she is confident and enjoys using sign language. I also have studied with Donovan and find his approach engaging as well as appropriately challenging!”
