About the Course
Course Overview
This course will focus on developing visual communication strategies to effectively learn basic communication skills in Auslan, whilst developing basic understanding of language as a structure and enhancing intercultural understanding, particularly basic code of cultural behaviour.
Goal
To enable learners to review basic skills and knowledge of the Auslan lexicon, particularly entity handshapes, handling handshapes and descriptive handshapes (SASSes); the use of space and directions. Potential students will be asked to negotiate new course contents after their completion of the review.

The online course starts from 1st week of February to 1st week of March
